You see this thing called pressure, it never ends. It’s either peer pressure or parental pressure or self induced pressure.
I remember graduating from first degree and going back home. Then there was the silent self induced need to keep up…..
As the latest graduate in town, It’s either you’re changing your wardrobe or skin tone or you no follow aka na your own bad pass.
So one day, a good friend called me up and somewhere in the conversation, we got to my skin tone. She had started toning hers, everyone could see.
You see, that’s what they call it nowadays; you’re not bleaching, you’re just brightening your skin tone by seeking help from an OG in the mixing business.
Her exact words were,

I smile

My smile broadens
