Waado' means Welcome!

The word ‘Waado’ originates from the Urhobo tribe in the Niger Delta Area of Nigeria, West Africa. It is a term that connotes welcome, warmth and friendship. Waado is a US registered 501c(3) Non-profit organization that exists to provide assistance to underserved communities by providing educational materials, food, and digital training to develop skills and leadership opportunities for the social and economic development of the communities we serve.

Our Mission is to build strong sustainable communities through partnerships,  mentorship, relationship, leadership, and entrepreneurship within our host communities.

Our Core Values are Faith, Integrity and Commitment.

Our Purpose is to be a catalyst for positive change to the people and communities we serve.

We believe that true change must start from within so we empower people to discover possibilities, develop problem solving skills, and deliver marketable solutions in underserved communities.

A mindset change is the first step to solving problems.

Our causes are designed to tackle problems such as drug abuse, prostitution, mental instability, substandard education, agriculture, skill and talent acquisition, poverty and healthcare.
